🔩 Drilling process settings

• Hole drilling: This operation involves plunging the drill bit straight down and immediately retracting after reaching the required depth. It can be performed using both routers and drill bits.

• 👉 To avoid inconsistencies due to slight variations in hole diameter during design, set:

  • Minimum Hole Diameter: 2.9 mm

  • Maximum Hole Diameter: 3.1 mm This ensures the software recognizes and optimizes the drilling process.

• Multi circle drilling: A router with a smaller diameter than the target hole spirals down in circles to create a hole.

❗ Do not select a drill bit for this operation.

• Multi circle with hole:

  A special drilling method to create hinge holes with a remaining central core. This design:

  • Prevents damage during edge banding.

  • Makes it easier for workers to remove the leftover material manually.

✅ Ideal for materials such as plastic wood or melamine-coated MDF. ✅ Only use routers for this method.
